Family of mostly nocturnal flights. In Portugal, 2 of the 3 species present in Europe are known. Identification level is easy to moderate depending on the condition of the specimen for the species Bedellia somnulentella . Species Bedellia ehikella apparently more grey and only present in the Algarve.
